The mission of Orlando Bites is to showcase Orlando’s growing food scene through an honest, unbiased lens. Too often, I’ve seen restaurants hyped up by Instagram and Facebook influencers, only to be disappointed when I visited. Many of these glowing posts turn out to be paid promotions or exaggerated reviews made just to rack up views.

I want to give readers a real look at the restaurants that call Orlando home, to see if they truly deserve the praise, if they’re worth lining up for, and when they might need some honest criticism instead of being placed on an untouchable pedestal.

I understand the restaurant business is tough, and I don’t fault owners for wanting to boost their social media presence. But when the focus shifts entirely to aesthetics and vibe at the expense of food quality, that’s where I draw the line. My goal is to keep the spotlight where it belongs: on great food that’s worth your time and money.
